Why is this not in the App Store or Google Play?

Nomadic Ready is a progressive web app. Your phone installs it directly from the browser, which means no store account, no review queue between a new chapter and your screen, and an install measured in seconds rather than hundreds of megabytes. Once installed it behaves like any other app on your Home Screen.

Does it work offline?

The core reading experience does. The texture atlas, care guides, grooming guide pages, and the barber brief are stored on your device the first time you visit. The shop finder and the photo consultation need a connection, because they search live data and run the AI model on the server.

What permissions does it ask for?

Only location, and only when you tap “Use precise location” in the shop finder — you can search by city name instead and never share it. Consultation photos are sent for analysis and are not kept afterwards. There is no account to create and no tracking profile.

The install button did not appear on my phone.

On iPhone and iPad, installation always goes through Safari's Share menu rather than a button, and Chrome or Firefox on iOS cannot do it. On Android, make sure you are in Chrome, Samsung Internet, Edge, or Brave rather than an in-app browser inside another app — open the link in the real browser and the Install option returns. If the app is already installed, the button hides itself.

How do I remove it?

Press and hold the icon and delete it, exactly like any other app. Nothing is left behind beyond the browser cache, which your device clears with the app.
